Cancellation / Refund Policy
If you wish to cancel your order, please follow these steps:
- The order can be cancelled anytime before dispatch of products. Once the shipment email is sent and delivered, the order cannot be cancelled.
- If you wish to cancel your order, Kindly email us at email@example.com mentioning your order details and reason for cancellation.
- Once the cancellation request is created, we will ensure that the cancellation is processed as soon as possible.
Why was my order cancelled by Ignou Mart?
We regret the inconvenience caused due to order cancellation. Your order may have been cancelled due to any of the following reasons:
- If product is out of stock or is discontinued
- Inaccuracies or errors in pricing information
We will inform you about the cancellation of your order and share details if partial order is cancelled or whole. We will contact you if any additional information is required to accept your order.
How will I get a refund for the order I cancelled or returned?
Once the resolution is set for refund, we will soon move ahead with the refund. Refund will be done by the same method we received the payment in.
In case of refunds for orders with online options as mode of payment (Debit Cards, Credit Cards), 2% of the total amount will be deducted and refunded to the account from which the payment was made. Orders in this case can only be cancelled before dispatch of products. Refunds in this case take upto 4-5 business days to reflect in your accounts.
In case of refunds for orders with Cash on Delivery mode of payment or NEFT mode of payment, your money will be refunded to you via Ignou Mart Coupons which can be used at the time of your future purchases with Ignou Mart and the coupon will be valid for 6 months from date of issue. The coupon will be sent on your registered email address only.
How long will it take me to receive the refund after I canceled / returned the order?
We take anywhere between 7-15 days to complete your refund request. The refund amount will be credited to the same account from where payment was made.
I've still not received the refund in my bank account. Why?
If you have received a mail from us confirming your refund request, then rest assured that we have initiated your refund request and are following up with financial organisations for the same. Sometimes financial organizations take a longer time to process the refund request. However, if the refund hasn't happened by the date we promised, you can contact us. We will help you.
Can I ask for NEFT refund if I paid through Credit Card/Debit Card/Netbanking?
We are sorry. In case you paid via credit card/debit card/netbanking, the amount will be refunded in the same account as you had made payment from.
